If you're using the same type of notes and forms, you can toggle Smartpen in and out of unused notebooks, but if you don't, your handwriting may overlap.
If you're having trouble with overlapping handwriting, try the following methods.
1. Use <Split> to separate data
You can use the <Split> function to separate handwriting data based on the time interval between handwriting.
If the interval between handwriting and handwriting is 10 minutes or more, the data is automatically divided into sections, and you can select and separate the handwriting data by unit.
① Launch the Neostudio app and select the [Menu] button on the top right of the page with overlapping handwriting.
② Select [Split] from the menu.
③ On the [Split] page, select a section of the overlapping data from the slide bar at the bottom.
④ Click the [Move] button on the top right, select the notebook you want to move the handwritten data to, and click the [OK] button to move the handwritten data. (Data marked in red will be moved and separated.)
⑤ You can check the moved handwriting data in the moved notebook.
The <Split> function is only available for physical notebooks that store handwriting on digital paper.
2. Separating data with Pen Data Movement History
The <Pen Data Movement History> feature allows you to separate your handwriting data based on the number of times it was moved from the Neo Smartpen to the app.
The <Pen Data Movement History> feature allows you to check the history of handwriting data moved from the Neo Smartpen to the app when the Neo Smartpen is not connected to the app, and the history of handwriting data moved to the app when the NeoSmartpen is connected to the app.
You can select and separate the handwriting data by the number of times you moved the handwriting data from the Neo Smartpen to the app.
① Launch the Neo Studio app and select [My Studio...] on the bottom right of the screen.
② Select the [Pen Settings] button at the top.
③ Select [Pen Data Movement History] at the bottom of the [Pen Settings] page.
④ Select the desired item from the list by date when the pen data was moved.
